Lazy Day Makeup Routine

Today’s post is going to be on my super-quick 10 minute makeup for those lazy days when you just  want to look put-together and awake without much of an effort! This would also be wonderful for back to school or if you’re running late for work. It’s a completely natural makeup that will last all day long.

Let’s jump right in!

So after a complete skincare routine I start off with Estee Lauder‘s Day Wear BB cream with SPF 35 which is super light and smooth on skin. It moisturizes as well as gives a subtle tint to the skin and  with a Real Technique‘s buffing brush I just go with the product all over my face. It’s light weight and super easy to blend-in so I don’t have to waste a lot of time on my foundation routine. It also gives an amazing glow and evens out my skin tone without much of a hassel.

Next, I go with Maybelline’s Fit Me Concealer in the shade 15 to get rid of all my little red spot areas and blemishes. This concealer is one of my favourites as it has an amazing coverage. And with Real Technique’s contour brush (yes I know it’s there for contouring but I find it useful for my under-eye concealing too!! lol)  I blend it all over. Then, for the powder I go with MAC Studio Fix NC40 . My T-zone gets too shiny if I don’t use powder, so yup this one’s necessary for me.

Because it is a lazy makeup look, I may/ may not go with just contouring and highlighting. Sometimes I use just a little bit of blush and do not contour/highlight my face at all and sometimes I prefer to do the full procedure. So I have this palette called Protection from Makeup Revolution which has a lovely combination of bronzer, highlighter and a blush. And if I am contouring, I take a contouring brush and contour my cheekbones and apply a little bit of the highlighter on my nose and above the cheeks. It gives a soft and a natural look. And then I use  Raspberry Sheen blush from Sephora for light-pinky glow on my cheeks.

I keep the eyes minimal and therefore I just apply the same bronze shade from the above palette and swipe it across on my lid and on the outer corner of my eye with a pointer brush and with a blending brush I blend it in. This gives a kind-of warmth and definition to my eyes and at the same time keeping the look natural. And then I use Kiko Milano‘s Graphic Gaze Double Eye Marker super close to my lashes for the dramatic flick. I finish-off the eye-makeup with a Lash Sensational Mascara from Maybellineon my top lashes.

Estee Lauder‘s is one of my go-to’s when it comes to lipsticks and lip glosses. I’m obsessed with Pink Innocence 21 lip gloss that gives a nice shimmer and tint to the lips and it smells so good. It always has to be there in my makeup bag XD

So this completes my makeup look and I think its such a fresh and beautiful and also a quick makeup look that makes me look awake and pulled-together. I would love to what you guys think about it!

Stay beautiful!
