Past four weeks have been fantabulous. Working day in and day out!! Looking up for blog post ideas.. bullet journaling.. college work..blog and instagram photography..

*phew*

Quite overwhelming.

But yes it felt better than usual to stay rooted for a couple of holidays at home and just CHILL OUT 😀

So, I’ve compiled some specific things which I did to de-stress and relax for the weekend. Hope you find them useful xx

Face Masks

Yes, face masks are always on my top lists if I have to have a little self-care time and it’s really relaxing and soothing for the skin as well. I’ve been using Garnier Skinactive Hydra Bomb Tissue Mask for three months now and I’ve been really impressed with it so far. It feels super hydrating and replenishing on the skin as it is infused with pomegranate extract making the skin rehydrated, smooth and radiant.

Meditate

I don’t know how many times I have mentioned about meditation on my blog!! According to me its one of the best ways to focus your attention, relieve all your thoughts and get into a state of mindfulness. Not only does it helps in de-stressing but its has also been proven that it is beneficial for a person’s mental and physical health. I have installed an app called HEADSPACE  on my phone which is amazing as the user can have access to hundreds of meditations ( stress, anxiety, sleep, focus).

Netflix

I’m so guilty of this but yes, I have to admit that I am a netflix-addict. I don’t know why, that after a hectic schedule from college and work, when I come back home..I have to wear my pjs and make myself a cup of coffee and sit in front of the TV.. and watch Love Island. Period. (ugh!!) Currently, I’m in obsessed with this show!! Tell me in the comments below if you’ve watched it. (Please recommend some more tv shows🙈..I would love to know about them XP )

Bullet Journal

I found it quite time-consuming and a stressful task when I wasn’t in the habit of journaling. Gradually, I watched YouTube videos..found inspirational posts on pinterest and instagram..and started doodling and planning things in my little notebook. Now, I’m a bujo-junkie. I write each and everything down in my journal. Generally, I plan things out the night before and this makes my mind at-ease and I find it quite relaxing. This also makes me less paranoid and stressful, as now my things are more organised xP

Reading

Did you know that the term “bookworm” derives from tiny insects who feed on the binding of books. *Just a random fact* (hehe!)  I love reading. Be it drama, satire, mystery, self-help, biography, adventure. The perfect image of curling up with a book and a cup of hot coffee. Yes, that’s it for me. Reading is a great way to escape to another place and time. In the process, your mind and body have a chance to relax. After several hours of exposing my eyes to the blue light of my phone/ laptop/ tv, I finish off my day by reading any book.
